He reportedly collapsed and could not be resuscitated by those who tended to him.University of Maine freshman Darius Minor never suited up in a Black Bears uniform. He was 18.According to the university, Minor collapsed at 1:15 p.m. ET.School president Dr. Joan Ferrini-Mundy released a statement about Minor’s passing.18-year-old Darius Minor was pronounced dead after he collapsed on the Univ. of Maine campus during a preseason workout.
